Hauptthema:
Hi there, German BMW fans! Greets from BMW fans from Latvia!
The reason I started this topic are these BMW widebodies:
for BMW e36:

for BMW e39:

Both of them are designed by our Latvia-located tuning company, AMT tuning Ltd. (http://www.amt-tuning.com/gallery.php)

My question is - what do you think about those bodykits?
It's now the time for our company to sale our bodykits overseas, so perhaps here are some tuning shop owners, that would become our partners in Germany?

By the way - here is the biggest BMW forum in Latvia (which is at the same the biggest of all automotive forums there):
http://www.bmwclub.lv/

If any questions then you can send me an e-mail: info@amt-tuning.com or by phone (+371) 26040441

;)
BILAL
do you make one for an E-34??
Nicore
Hmmm, the E36 Widebody looks nive on a first view, but
unfortunately the grills are part of the bumper, that
looks awful and you won`t find any friends for that in
Germany. :/

A really undiscovery market for widebody kits is the
E36 Compact...
AMT
We can adjust this bodykit for compact version also, but we have no idea whether we get enough buyers for it. So we need first to find someone in German to work with.
But whatever; what is about e39 widebody? I have not seen anything much e39 widebodies also.

Nope.
BIMMERti
I really don't like the front bumper. It seems out of place. I am currently thinking about a widebody for my compact but I want it to be subtle, not something that really stands out. I think it needs to be clean and look like it came from the factory like that.

The fenders don't look bad, but for me, it is to much. Good job none the less.
BIMMERti
Any pictures of the rear bumper?
Nicore
@BIMMERti: Did you receive my PM with the pictures? What you just
need is to widen the wheel arch. :)

Just look the first pictures in THIS THREAD and you will see.
For an example, you can attach the wheel arch of a E46 coupé, then you
have enough space for your new wheels and still got the "factory-look".

Besides that, I love your car! Looks discreet but still sporty... :)
Do you have more pictures? Would like to se moooore!!

You mean 1180 EUR is too much for a widebody?

Nicore
Yepp... but depends on the material it is made of.
For a glass fiber body kit the half price would be okay.

Really cool would be real metal fenders and the other
parts made of ABS or PU.
AMT
Oh, we can make a BMW wide bodykit, the sh*t is that we use original car body for that (say, we enlarge stock fenders), and that's a constraint for anyone far from Riga, isn't it? :-(
Nicore
Jepp, I would love to have a widebody kit like that, but the distance... :(
Did you ever mady anything for the compact? The front would be the same as
the other models but the rear...

In my opinion, it´s a problem in the future, to sell wide body kit´s here.

1. Nobody would buy so a car again, the owner from so a car can´t resell it.

2. The new europa-law´s for this stuff are not fixed. How you want to bring a car through our TÜV with a body-kit like this without any test-papers (have fun) ?

Question: Should this thread to be a advertisement for your body kit´s ?

*** BMW syndicate general forum guidelines ***

Commercialisation

It is not welcome, beyond the classified ads offers(supplies) or requests to posten. Furthermore no tips on the part of which serve own profit achievement are permitted beyond the link forum. Trader's announcements may be put(stopped) exclusively in the forums intended for it(in return) in the classified ad part and left part of the forum. Provided that traders give assistance in contributions(articles), then this has to happen in a neutral form(shape) without profits achievement intention. The tips to favorable shops(dealings), workshops may happen etc. only by persons who thereby pursue no own commercial interest or are involved in the turnover(sales). This is checked if necessary by the syndicate team.

BILAL
It might seem like advertising but the opening statement does ask the question what do we think about the wide body kits. Not "hey look what we sell".

I guess its up to the mods...

Such advices quite the stuff what I wanted to hear (thanks for that). I have not considered TUV thing - so the next question what is the process of making our parts TUV legal? Who should I contact?

No one knows answer to this?
BILAL
There is another forum for the question about TUV.

Americans usually dont have to pay attention to TUV.

You would get more responses if you asked the question there.
AMT
Thank's very much! ;)
