I'm looking for somebody who has good experience with BMW engine swap. I have BMW 635CSi and the engine E34 M5 3.8 which I want to install in it. My car is located in Bratislava(SK) so I would prefer if is motor-specialist from surroundings of Vienna(AT) or so. Please help if you have any recommandations. thanks.

i think it would be a big problem to make a engine swap like this. its already difficult to make an engine swape vom E34 M5 engine in E30.
I cannot believe that this works.

Thank you guys for yr opinion. I know it woudn't be easy, but I believe it is not impossible to do it. I had two skilled mechanics who were able to swap these engines but, one clossed his garage and left country for better job and another one has some family issues.
By the way one of them put the enigne(M5) in the engine bay and was preparing all holders-fittings, but he finished in this stage due to lack of time - I have complete donor car. And by the way I saw on the web some guys in France they put M5 3.6 into BMW CSL. So I think it is just great challenge :-) |
