Hi... I'm a guy from Denmark so i'm gonna write this in english.

First of all here is some data upon my car: BMW E36 316i M43 Coupe, Type 3B 7/1995.

I've been looking at some Fahrwerke at eBay.de but don't know which one to buy. I've just mounted my rims (8x18" ET38 225/40-18) and I already now I have problems on the rear end when i cross a bump (see picture below).

How much can I lower my car? I would like to see some pictures of different coupe's (4 cyl. prefered) and some details about their lowering kits.

What is the main difference between Type 3B, 3/B, 3C and 3/C? I would really like a Weitec kit on my car, but I can only find one which fit 3C.

Here is what I had in mind:

Main concern: 60mm in front

Main concern: Quality

Link
Main concern: Does it fit my car? (9/91- but some kits go from 91-92 thats why I'm concerned)

Link
Main concern: Same as the above mentioned Weitec kit

Link
Main concern: 60/30 is it too low? It does come in a 40/30 version, will it fit better?

Main concern: Quality

Main concern: Quality and how would 40/20 look like?

Please tell me which lowering kit you would choose and why. I prefer a price below 400€ please have that in mind and the fact that a 316i is no racer, so I don't need "the top of the top". It's got to be firm and then yet still got be comfortable.

I really hope some of you can help me. I haven't been able to find any help in Denmark. The 4 cyl. coupe is not a common car here. Mine is a importcar from Germany.

When you have contact, you must roll your corner inside the wing.
This you should let do in a tuning garage with so a tool: Bördelgerät

So as it look at the picture, front 60mm / rear 30mm

Lower ist always possible, but it is hand in hand with more work on the car.

When the car comes to far down with the 40mm springs in th rear, you can do in original BMW "POOR ROAD PACKAGE" spring pads.

The price is low for this rubber pads, and BMW have it in different highs.
Many Compact-driver gone this way, and they are happy with this solution.

Thank you very much for your supply. I think I'm going for the Weitec Ultra GT 50/20. Does anyone have any experience with that?
