Hi there!

I just registered to your great forum, but unfortunatly i'm not good at writing german, so i will post this message in english. I do understand a little german, so it's ok if you react in german ;) hehe... My question is, what kind of front and rearspoilers do i have? what brand and model? (Frontstoßstange + heckstoßstange?) I can't remember that i have ever seen them before, and i can't even find them in any of the photostories, maybe i'm not looking good enough! anyway, here are the pictures!

The back of the car, only thing i know is that the spoiler on the trunk is Kamei...

And now, a little info about me and the car:
I'm Gert Wierbos and I live in Hoogeveen, the Netherlands (yes, i'm a neighbour :P), I have been a BMW nut as long as I know, My first car was a 318 E21 (which i still have) and i bought this cabrio last year december, so i have it for a year now... It's the nicest car i have ever had :P hehe... anyway, it would be funny if the car was familiar to any of you, because the car is imported from Deutschland to the Netherlands in 1996, the car itself is built in 1987 (march). But that would be too much coincedence! :P hehe...

I will make a photostory for the car with new pictures after i washed it, so you can all read the specs, although it's pretty much standard ;)

The rear spoiler look like a copy from the original E30 M3 Spoiler, from the first cars built 1987.

well, it must be a copy then, because the rearspoiler is mounted under the rear bumper, and it does look different!

The frontspoiler isn't the same either, because it is mounted right under the frontbumper, on an original spoiler, the bumper chrome under the black piece of the bumper is still visible, and the bumper sticks out more... The hole in the middle is also a different piece, it looks like it, but it's definitly not the same, th piece in the middle is also all black, while the original one has some strips as part of the spoiler... i hope it's a little clear what i mean ;)

perhaps we can give you some more reacts, but WE CAN'T SEE THE PICTURES ANY MORE

pictures should be fixed! :)

could be from racying dynamics but there should be a cover for the towing hook then.

i think we are getting close! :) here are some better pictures, don't mind all the dirt, i will clean the car next saturday! hehe...







As you can see now, the rearspoiler is indeed a 3 piece spoiler, like the zender, only higher, and the zender model is more round, mine is more square..., and mine has a hole for the auspuff, which looks like it has to be that way, not just a cut-out.

the front spoiler: everything on the spoiler that is green (car-color) is all one piece, the little grill in the middle is black and is a different piece! The original BMW frontspoilers are all 2 of 3 piece ones... So i doubt it's an original. But we will keep looking :) Thanks for helping me though! I really appreciate all the reactions!

okay, the frontspoiler realy doesn´t look like mine! ;)

here is an other pic, there the zender spoiler is on a car... i think yours is ab bit ?angularly? (i don´t know if it´s the right word, pleas correct me! ;) ) but that could be done by a varnisher...

maybe it's some kind of strange zender replica, it's definatly not the one from the picture, mine also has a sort of rectangular holes at the top, right under the bumper, that is where it's screwed on... i didn't see them at the zender spoilers! At least i know what my rear-spoiler looks like, it's a little m3-ish and a little zender-ish... :P

Now for the front spoiler :S

I saw a 325i cabrio for sale on autotrader.nl, it was advertised as it had ac-schnitzer spoilers, i would believe it if i saw the price (about €6000.-), anyway, the frontspoiler is exactly the same as mine! Is this really an AC-Schnitzer frontspoiler? i can't find it in pictures anywhere if i search for it! Here is the picture:

no, that's definetly no ac schnitzer spoiler. you can see the ac-schnitzer cataloge also @ www.e30.de.
klick on the left navbar on "schnitzer" then on "s3" and at last on "Prospekt E30 1989"
