Sorry for not spelling deutch !!

But i´m about to go to germany and get a e-36 cab 325/328

What´s the condition of the cheapest one
on Mobile.de and autoscout 24 sites.
Really bad or is it possible to get one that
is in good condition both in chassi and in the engine ??

Or is it just waste of money and time to go for a cheap cab like those...
but otherwise how do i know the car is in
top condition if its expensive beacuse that´s no guarantee at all or is german people really honset people generally,swedes are not i can say for sure !!

How much for a really nice 325 cab with leather and klima with original km standings around 150.000 km jahre 94 for example !!

Would someone help me find one ???

I think it doesn`t matter if you would buy the cab in sweden or germany, cause the people are the same. You can be lucky and get a good cab from a "honest person" but you can be fooled as well.
If I would be in your place I would go for an good 328 Cab with about 80-120tkm for which you have to pay round about 10-13000€.
The most imported thing is to meet the owner in person to get an impression of him and then I would go to a TÜV or DEKRA station to let them check the car.
The chassi is very important cause this is the weak spot of the convertible.

I guess you need to pay 8-10000€ for a "good" 325 with leather and klima from 94...

I dont know at all about cab prices, but I think for getting a nice car in good condition for a low price, it is better to look for private Persons selling their car. In Mobile are not that much private offers, the most offers are written by small companys buying used cars from privates and selling them. If you want to look for private offers you can look in the "ABISZ" for example. There are many offers by private people, so the danger of being tricked about the Kilometers is less big. I by myself found my car in mobile.de but you have to spend much time on finding a good car with a low price without being tricked. I think you have to come over here for at least 5 days and test at least 10 offers to find a good one. And if you want to buy a car from a professional dealer drive the car direktly to BMW and let them check it for you before making the deal.

Thats how to make a real good deal - and I think if you want to come over here to buy a car it has to be a very good one.

By the way I`ve got a very good friend who is international car trader. He exports many cars to Sweden, so I could ask him for a car in good condition and tell you the price but I think you will pay at least about 1000Euro more than by coming over here, but Im not sure...if you want I can ask him about that, if not: good luck for looking after your cab. !

are not paying taxes either i guess :)

This is the case !

Most imported car in sweden is very very manipulated with the km standings...
but for me i can buy a car with many miles
if the engine is okey and the car doesn´t has a lot of small damages as door open scratches and so on.

I can come to germany as well to buy the car...maybe he has several one so i can pick the best one. :)

Okey I`ll phone him today, and post what he thinks about prices ( it depends on the color a bit - popular colors like black are more expensive like green or white for example )
No I dont think he will have several cars, because he normally exports the bigger cars like bmw 7, or 5, bigger mercedes or sports cars like Porsche and so on. But sometimes he has two or three smaller bmw...
He`ll know very well about the prices so I can tell you what you should pay for a "correct" one. I will ask him for an offer by him, too.

I can get a couple of cars from him to that´s no problem....i can buy...let´s say cars for about 20.000-25.000 Euro...

Then i can sold those ones i don´t want
for my personal use here in Sweden and hopefully other people had pay my cab :)

yes I think that should be no problem. I sold my last BMW, a 320i, white , bj.92 , 100.000km (real - it was my grandfathers car before) no leather, no klima, nothing, for 3.600Euro one year ago to a guy from Norway (not sure). He said he will sell the car for about 10.000Euro over there. Seems to make sense to import cars from Germany to Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

I did not call my friend yet. But I will post the results tomorrow...

lol...I was faster than I told you. I just called him! I will meet him tomorrow 17:00 (5 o`clock pm) in his office and ask him about some prices and so on.

The prices is like day and night between
Norway and Sweden becase in Norway they have to pay alot of taxes of imported cars.

In Sweden it just cost about 400 Euro included all....but the vat has to be payed if you didnt pay the vat of the car where it
come from.
In germany the vat is 16 %,in sweden it´s 25 % of the prices.

I have about 100 miles to Hamburg so it´s a
pretty long way :) but I was there this summer (-04) but i didn´t found any cars sadly.

I see theres a difference between Sweden and Norway ;-) But my friend makes business with Swedish people often so it seems to be a difference between German and Swedish prices anyway.
My friends Company is in BREMEN its not far from Hamburg (about 1 and a half hour). If you fly to Bremen I can pick you up at the Bremen Airport...
My friend told me same as Fry told you...about 7.oooeuro for a car in good condition with leather,Klima and so on. It depends a little bit on the color you want and other things. He has got no e36 cabs at the moment but 2 e46 cabs. You told me you want other cars too,right? What cars do you want to have besides the cab? If you want to have more "usual" cars like Mercedes Kombi and so on he could make you very good prices because he sells 2 of them each day ( he sells them cheap, and doesnt make much money by one car, but like I said he exports about 60 cars a month ). So if you want other cars than a e36 325i cab. what cars then? He will also look for e36 cabs the next days. When will you come to Germany?

I´m pretty much in to Bmw,have own quite alot of them during the last 8 years...i know bmw cars (engine e.t.c) so any models of bmw is intresting.

Maybe the 7 serie less than 5 and 3 because 740 and greater models got v 8 and i don´t got much experience of them,have just own one 740 jahre -94 this summer actually.
So at the moment all 3 and 5 serie is very intresting !!!

I can go to germany any day,i´m having my own company so Í can do what ever i want :)

No sry I dont have...I do have ICQ (NR:259-438-143) I think the normal (not cab) 3 and 5 models would be very interesting for you, because (like I already mensioned)he exports the most cars and for export these cars are more interesting than Cabrios for example (its easier to sell them). So because he sells 3 of them a week you`ll have a good chance to make a good deal! I think the Cabrio thing is like "Russian Roulette" because sometimes he has some, often not, and I can not say to him "buy one - my swedish friend wants to check it" , but then (maybe) you do not like it and he has to sell it somehow - like I said for him a cab is hard to sell.
I do not know what the two e46 cabrio cost exactly ( 320 and ? ) but they were amazing cheap. But I think they were nothing for you because the 1st had an accident (it is repaired, but....) and the 2nd was in bad condition, too. If you were from Poland you would be interested maybe ;-)

I think I`ll look what he buys the next days
and if he has some good BMW in good condition, I give you a call (Phone Number?) or I tell him to call you. I have to visit him everyday anyway, because I want to buy the e46 rims and I look everyday if he has got rims, that I like...

Oh and what my friend told me: In Sweden the e36 Cabs are not that much more expensive than here, a lot other cars are, but he said the cabs would be pretty cheap in Sweden, too.
But you should know better, if it is worth to come to Germany for the Cab.

Yes it´s possible to find pretty cheap cabs in sweden but the condition is pretty bad on most of them and i don´t want a bad one.
And secondly most people do think there
cabs is worth alot more than the real buyers would pay and if you call those people and give them a good offer they just hang up the phone even if the offer is real good as they will realize to late six month later !!!

Private people offer higher price than some car dealer and that is telling you everything !!

The point for me to get one from germany is that you have much more to offer,i can get exacly what i want with all extra options and in which colour i prefer and so on..most cabs in sweden does not has it all
as klima,leather,electrical chairs e.t.c.

The cab you mention that is in real bad condition could be intresting why not..
maybe it´s impossible to remake the car to it´s better :) if the chassi is bad do less
but if the engine is bad it´s not worth it i guess but it all depends on what to do.

I can do alot of repairs on my own and paint
the chassi doesn´t cost me to much either so that kind of things is no problem.

What can he offer me for both e-46 cabs ??

so it´s easier for me to get a clue if they

You get a point...i´ts hard for him to buy a cab and i don´t want to buy a car when i haven´t seen or test it or nothing else...a car can have so much things that is not okey
and that´s impossible for me to see just througt the internet :)
You know stuff like oilleak,bad getriebe or other mechanic things.

And if i buy a car that is not okey in the engine for example i have to cheat someone and i don´t want to´,i´m an honnest man really !!

As long as the engine and getriebe is okey
all cars are intresting because i can do alot of repairs to the chassi myself,i´m having my own garage in which i have paintbox and other necesarily tools.

Yeah it would be great if you installed icq. Today I have no time to visit him, but I will go to him tomorrow. I will ask him some things about the e46 cabs. (but like I said the most cars he buys only stand a few days in his company then he sells them - he sells very fast.)
So if you have got ICQ and added me I can tell you everytime when he has got some real good BMW.
