Hallo!
Profiler aka Joe hat in seinen 318is einen neuen Motor, m52 2,8 , eingebaut.
Nun er hat den motor komplett drin und an den kabelbaum angeschlossen usw usf
Nur hätte der 2,8er motor ja zwo stecker und er weis nicht, wozu der zweite stecker ist.
Er meinte auch, das der Anlasser dreht, aber der Motor will nicht anspringen.
Hat jemand da vielleicht rat?

hallo, zweiter stecker im motorraum ist fürs asr regelgerät, kann man weglassen. ohne ews oder ews-umgehung bekommst du den m52 motor im 318is nicht zum laufen. habe selber vor zwei jahren von 318is auf 328i umgebaut und hatte das gleiche problem wie ihr. gruß jörg Castrol das muß drin sein :-) RS 10W-60 Meine neue Bella |

Wie umgeht man die EWS wenn man keine hat?? |

@Cube43 indem mal eine sich von einem tuner, eine blackbox für teures geld holt, diese an die motorelektronik anschließt und dann kann der spaß losgehen. der spaß hat mich damals 1000 DM gekostet! gruß jörg Castrol das muß drin sein :-) RS 10W-60 Meine neue Bella |

das hat bmw bei mir auch gesagt:-) der starter drehte den motor, nur er sprang nicht an. ohne ews-signal wird die zündung und die einspritzanlage ausgeschaltet, deshalb startet der motor nicht. bei so umbauten, brauchst du nicht auf die vertragswerkstätten zu hören, sie habe meistens von umbauten keine ahnung. gruß jörg Castrol das muß drin sein :-) RS 10W-60 Meine neue Bella |

hmmm, i dunno.
There´s two places. The VD Autotechnik in K-Town or even better Mork Fahrzeugtechnik. That place is close to K-Town. They really know what to do. If you need help about the contact to them, just call me....Bilal has my cell number.
