Thank you for your reply. I have the rings from Bimmian .com which look nearly identical to the Z3 rings. But if I can find the original ones I will install these too. Just for peace of mind :)

Hey hello, saw your journal, nice car! You had chrome tachorings, but later in your your journal you explicitly say "Z3 Tachoringen". BMW doesn't sell these seperately do they?
Or did you take them out of a Z3 gauge cluster?
