Hello people!

I am sory to write in English, but in German it would take me ~30 min to write this single post :(

I have a question: what is a procedure of getting bodykits TUV approved? What are possible expenses and how long does this takes to get a bodykit TUV approved?

Hi AMT.

Do you want to make a certificate for your produced parts?
I remember that you are making thos widebody kits.

To make a certificate the parts have to do several tests.
- the crash behaviour
- is it safe for the cars maximum speed
- the parts may not be sharp-edged

And so on...

The manufacturer is AMT tuning. We now want to see whether we can sell our bodykits in Germany, and TUV is necessary to be able to do this.

Yes, you are absolutely right - we manufacture bodykits. About those tests - who should we contact to do this? Thanks in advance!

at best you contact the KBA (Kraftfahrt Bundesamt) they can tell you, where you have to with your parts and what they want to do with them.
