Hope this is allowed. I can read German, and understand most of it, but I'm not very good in writing... So, to my question... I have a 323Ci E46, baujahr 04/99 I have electric memory seats, but not the mirror memory. I do not have the mirror that tilts down in reverse either. I was thinking of buying som M3 mirrors with anklappfunktion, and looking at the removal instructions in TIS, it looks like i have the schalter which has two connections instead of one, like a "T" (cannot check myself, will not be home for some days). Now, if I replace that schalter with Teile nr 61318373732, I get a schalter with the small folding button, right? So....is anklappfunktion plug and play on a 04/99 323Ci E46, WITH memory seats, but WITHOUT memory mirrors or reverse tilting mirrors, with the correct schalter? Anybody done this on a similar spec car? Would appreciate any help! And if you want the m3 mirrors with "anklappfunktion" you need ones with 10 cables going out, and you need the memory-modul (wich i think you already have if you have memory seats). ____________________________ |

Well, to be honest, I don't use the memory functions a lot, since I'm the only one driving the car. I have never seen the mirrors move by memory, but then again I never move them or use the other key. But it was my understanding that the 99-00 cars that had memory seats came without memory mirrors and tilting function. Seem to recall someone said it somewhere one this forum, but it might be wrong of course. So you think that as long as the seats have memory, it's not necessary to have memory mirrors to make the folding function work? I might just order the switch and try, it's not that expensive anyway. BTW the mirrors are 10 wires, so that should be okay. Regards TommyL ____________________________ |

To check if you have memory, just change te position of the mirrorss and seats and open the car with the key. Mirrors and seat will go to the memorized pozition after pushing the "unlock" button on your key. i hope i could help you. ____________________________ |
