Hallo ,

ich habe meine SIM Karte endlich im Steuergeraet des Autotelefons (BMW GSM) eingebaut. Obwohl das Telefon schon von Werk drin ist, war die Steuereinheit rechts hinter der Ruecksitzlehne.
Ich musste das Teil komplett rausschrauben um die SIM Karte einzufuegen (obwohl 5Volt funktionierte die nicht im lesegeraet vorne)

Ich habe aber immer das Problem das manchmal das Telefon mit der Zuendung angeht und nach dem PIN Code fragt und manchmal sieht man nur schwarze Balken auf dem Display und nach einer Zeit ist es wieder aus. Auch beim Anschalten per Taste ist es daselbe.

Sehr aergerlich, da wenn es funktioniert die Qualitaet 1A ist. Woran liegt dies und welches Teil muesste man ueberpruefen ggfals auswechseln und lohnt sich das?

Nebenbei, verstehe ich nicht wie BMW diese SCHWACHSINNSIDEE hat, das sekundare Kartenlesegeraet so versteckt zu verbauen.(Ich muss die Halterung loesen und zerlegen um den Schlitz freizulegen).

Hallo,

Eine Frage ich habe in meinen e36 3.20 BJ 1995 cabrio so ein telefonhalter auf der beifahrerseite mal gehabt was ich aber abgeschraubt habe.
Des Problem ist ich will wieder ein telefon im auto haben, aber ich weis nicht was für ein telefon da rein gehört das kabel ist ja noch da.

First of all, BMW used 2 mounting places for (at least) the cabrio model

The S/E Gerät (module). Older systems have the module located behing the rear seats (right side).
The later systems had it located in the trunk.

From what I recall, the later model telefon has a kartenleser vorn, but the old system, you have to put the SIM car in the module.

So yes, it's not good if you want to put in and take out the SIM card many times.

But since you say your car is from 1998, you should have the later model "D-Netz" telefon with a working kartenleser vorn (in the ejectbox).

That last model excepts SIM cards in both kartenleser (ejectbox + module).

Do you mean this?

This can be caused by a bad module (I had this problem) or a SIM card that isn't put in correctly. Try flipping the SIM card and put it in the other way.
