I cannot decide whether to buy 320d or 325i. Which one do you recommend and WHY? The thing is that 163PS is not that much considering my present car(Passat 1.8T) has 150 PS and I want an higher upgrade. Do you recommend chiptuning of 320d or is it better to buy 325i? 330d is a lot of money and I'm not willing to spend that much on a car. Whats the REAL difference in fuel consumption between 320d and 325i? THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ANY ANSWER! |

Alpina D3 is not out yet. I dont want to wait that much..and other thing is that I can get discount cca 10% from BMW and I have no idea if I could get discount from Alpina. They dont sell them over here in Slovakia. What do you think? Is it possible to get a discount from them? Or should I just buy 320d and chip it? |

Autor: FRY Datum: 04.11.2005 Antwort: ---------------------------------------------------------- i´m totally against chiptuning. anf if you buy a 320d with filter its very hard to have a good chiptuning because the emission is much higher and the filter can´t clean himself as fast as it gets dirty. so you have to check it after 50-70Tkm. and if you buy a chiptuning, BMW doesn´t give any warranty for this car. the ALPINA D3 can be ordered by now but i don´t know about your 10% discount. if you want performance, you have to buy performance and this ist expensive. ____________________________ Wer Rechtschreibfehler findet, darf sie behalten. :o) |

It's nearly as powerful as the 330i but 4000 Euros cheaper. It has much more power than the 320d and the engines sounds like a real BMW. The only negative aspect is, if you want to have fun with the car it needs nearly 10ltrs, on the other side if you drive relaxed an craeful 7,5ltrs aren't impossible. |

Autor: Tracer Datum: 10.11.2005 Antwort: ---------------------------------------------------------- think for the future ;) ok gas is not cheap if the gas price beyond goes up, but you can drive longer with a full tank :-) And i think that the 320d with 150Ps and 6 gear are optimal ähmmm (Sportlich augelegt) filled sporty. Mohl jsem koupit predchozi 330i cca 1.5 roku jetou, od bmw dealera za 800t ceskych. Po projizdce v E90 320d sem vahal 1 den a objednal touring co stal na krame. Ted jen cekam na domontaz stresnich list a hura na silnici. Sam najedu 50000 rocne a rad jezdim svizne po dalnici. Nafta ti neudela takovej vir v nadrzi jako V6 benzin, obzvlaste pri 180-200 kmh. Je to pekne utlumene auto a vzdy je tu moznost nacipovat na 185-200 koni, coz jsou velice slusny hodnoty, a kroutak ke 400 Nm! Nevim jak se zachova filtr pevnych castic, jak tu pise FRY, ale cipovani se nebojim. Mam upraveny 220 CDI mercedes motor a je to pohadka... Taky jsem mel obavy, ale nejsem ochoten priplatit 200t na 330d. Tak si dobre vyber ;) Na druhou stranu zvuk kamaradovy M3... no proste otazka na co to auto ma slouzit. |
