The motor architecture of the BMW is a inline six-cylinder and the Porsche one is a flat six. The sound of the BMW is more smooth and the Porsche has a rougher sound especially if it is air cooled. That's why the older Porsche cars are much louder and stronger than the newer ones which are water cooled. Gwen |
