Hi everyone!
Sorry, my German isn't good, I have a question you guys might know.

Is it possible to fit the 6 throttle bodies + intake from an S50B32 (E36 M3, '97) to an M50B25? If so, is there benefit to this? What would the engine feel like if this wa accomplished?

s52 is the us m3, they have no throttle bodies, they have the m52 air intake.

Its possible but you need an adapter Flange for the single Throttle Bodies..........
Same like M50 swaps....
The next is, you need somebody who knows how to tune the software for this STB.

nein ich fahre einen m50b30tü mit edk von dbilAs

die maschine ist von kollegen ist ein m50 ohne vanos mann braucht adapter platte für den EDK von m3

B28 allways got VaNoS!


It's possible to fit M3 STB on the M50/M52 but you have to update your software to work.

This project wouldn't be easy to finish. I think there were better ways to fit a STB to the M50/M52 - dBilas for example.


Last but not least: There were no extrem powerupgrade after this.

Ein M50B25 umgebaut auf B28 nennt sich aber M50B28 ;-)
und hat auch keine Vanos...

@ Fusion.e30 The m3 edk its cheaper then the EDK from dbilas but you have many work its not easy...

but you know Nothing is impossibel ;-)

you need for the m3 EDK expander and you can beginn with your work

i thnik you pay four m3 edk with expander 800-1000 Euro

and dbilas Edk its more expensive 2200 euro new

but you can watch Egay its cheaper....

Would you guys happen to have a picture of the adapter? Or does someone sell them ready made?
What do you think the difference id after EDK installation? Faster throttle response? A few horses? :)
To delete the MAF you have to remap the EPROM to work without it?

eine auktionmarkt für Herrn Westerwelle

If your software ist complete new written for the stb you get better throttle response and perhabs 12 HP
The MAf delete should also reprogrammed , and that is the Problem for a Software tuner .
