BMW Performance Brake kit on E36? (3er BMW - E36 Forum)

Does anyone on here already attempted to adapt the BMW Performance Brake Kit to an E36?

The brakekit is realatively very cheap for such a nice kit with 6-piston sold calipers up front and 2-piston setup on the rear.

As I am totally into OEM (See my fotostory) this would be very nice.

I have seen the calipers mounted to an M5, but not on an e36 yet.

Are you speaking from this brake here ?

your biggest problem will be the caliper holder, because the front axle is not to compare with that one from the E36

Yes that's the one.

I already saw it mounted on an M5.

Since the e46 330 brakes are also easy to fit on an e36, maybe with some adapters, these Performance calipers can be made fit too.

Well anything can. I was just wondering if somebody already did so.

It's fair to say I think, that this hasn't been done yet.

i like the idea, especially if it´s doable. Anyway, it´s worth a try. Good luck.

If you sponsor me the set, I'll try making it fit :)

So we are a year further. Anyone know anyone who maybe did this in the mean time?

It would be great to have an OEM brake kit like this.

Thank you so much! That is amazing. I really have to look into that. If I'm concentrating I can read German.

As you may know I'm strictly OEM and if I could have a nice brake kit with fixed calipers, that would be so nice.

Stock 328i brakes are a little weak for the car.
