TV+Navi questions (Geplaudere Forum)

I'm new here, getting my driving license in June and gonna buy 540i Touring, year 97-99. Is is possible to watch digital TV with the original device? If not, can the signal be converted somehow? One more question...is it possible to install TV+Navi afterwards into a car without it? Where can I buy that device?

Well since you are just getting your drivers license ... are you sure you want such a "big" car?

Sure you can install it all afterwards, but it will cost more, here is Germany, you should be able to get it at Media Markt, or Saturn

540 is a big car for a novice, I agree. I've been behind the wheel for about 4 years, had great teachers and I'm used to handle big cars with respect. All this in closed tracks, of course.
About the TV+Navi, I meant can I install the original but used device into a car which originally was without it. If so, where could I get a used and working one?
Or did you mean I can buy the original at Media Markt?

you should be able to buy one - not really the original - from media markt.

if you want the original.. I think thre only place is BMW
or ebay.
