Hallo. I will write the question in english, as i'm not very good at deutsch. If anyone can translate, it will be great. Hope you understand my question.
I imported a great looking BMW 316i E30 from Greece to Denmark in the winter 2017. The car is modified completely to a 325i E30 with a M20B25. We have very strict rules here in Denmark about modification of cars, and therefor, I need some documentation for this modification. I have spoken to alot of authorized BMW workshops, and a few is still trying to find out how to do this. I have spoken to TÜV in Germany. They told me that they could not make documentation for use on danish road. But i am not sure, if they could make documentation for use on german road. Did not really get a clear answer. Of course it requires a long and detailed inspection, to make sure everything is on point. But that must be doable.. I guess.
I am still waiting for answer from BMW in Germany. I have the original greek registration, with the original VIN, but I have not got the VIN from the 325i that they used for the modification. Maybe that is a problem. I am just guessing that they could use any 325i E30 for original documents.
Have any of you been in a simular situation? Maybe exactly the same? Any information will be usefull!
