Hi guys,

I am new here and I do not speak German very well, "doch" hope you can help me:

I would like to equipe my wife´s :-) 116i with angel eyes (09/2007 = Facelift, non-xenon) and after reading many articles - also here in the forum - I am totally confused (or is it maybe my German??):

• Dectane are better than Depo, but they are both the same...
• Dectane pictures with full rings are faked...
• the rings shine with dots and shine yellow...
• ccfl rings are maybe a better solution as you can still keep your original bmw lights...
blal-bla-bla

Any good advice?
Wouldn´t the ccfl rings look strange if the original headlight is not equipped with such a "lens"?

Thanks for your opinion

The best solution is DEPO.

But you can see 4 light-dots on every ring.

You can replace the lamps and put in 4 LED's on every ring. So you will have white ring's.
You will need 16 LED's.

DEPO - Chrome

DEPO- Black

LED's 5000K

Hi schehofa,

thanks for input, but the Depo´s in your link do not fit to facelift :-(
Also, many prefere Dectane´s to Depo´s. Do you know why? And what is the real difference?

thanks

correct. though there is a guy in the 1erforum who replaced the 4 lights by a ring, but it's a hell of a work and you need the equipment...
