Hi I'm new to this forum.
I am thinking of making this conversion M3 engine in an E39, but is this possible?
My car is a E39 528 (M52b28) 5 M/T from 96
and I would like to install the S50B32 engine from the E36 M3 3.2 96.
As I understand the gearbox should fit.
I would use a complete M3 exhaust system.
But what about the engine mounts, will the S50 engine fit the M52 mounts?
I would change the oilpan and pickup from the M52 onto the S50 but will they fit?
My only real concern is the wiring - will there be any problem with this or is this a plug n' play operation?
Has anyone ever done this before? I have tried and google it but nothing came up..
