Hi fellows, i do not speak German very well, frankly really bad i'll guess, so i have to post this in english :-)
I am in the process of importing an 120d from German, it has most of what i wanted, but the stereo i'll think is BMW Radio Business combined with Navi Professional. My question is, how can i uppgrade to better sounding in this car? I have listen to the Radio business when i test drive an 118d, but that was not impressing, compared to what i've had in my former Saab 900! So please give me some advise.

the sound itself does not depend on the typ of radio, it's the sound system what makes the difference.
if the 120d has a hifi system the sound is great, so try to get it with this system or you will have to find some other solutions.

Yeah well, i dont think it has a HiFi stereo. I am not sure what's original in the -05 model, but it has a cd player, and i think 6 speakers, but i'll guess that they had to be uppgraded, and that i nedd more power/watt in the amplifier and perhaps two small subs to place underneath the front seats. The call that a 3-way HiFi system now in the -07 models, but you have to pay extra of course.
What i was looking after was if anyone knows how many watt the integrated HiFisystem has?

hier u can find a list of the max. Output of the 3 available Ampfilers. I think the power of the attached speakers is very equal to that... (but remember, that there r more than 1 speaker per channel (depending on soundsystem))
