Hi,

I have a BMW E36 M3 (3.2) with EURO2.
However the airblower that is in connection to this is noisy opon startup the first minutes. Anyone experianced this type of noise?

And know how to fix it?
I heard that it is posible to just remove the connection on the blower. But is it really noisy like standard or is it becouse the blower is tired??

Best Regards

Airblower say me not really much now, have you a chance, to make a picture from your engine bay ?

So you can show us, where you have a problem.
Is your engine 100% in original condition ?

Ich vermute mal, es geht um die Sekundärluftpumpe.

Weiß-Blau-Fan-Rude > its the air pump that is in connection with the exhaust and intake. That transfer some exhaust gas or somthing. I have something to do with the emission control to do.

Here is links to realoem:

Now i know the part, this i for emission reduce.

Hmm, it could be a dead bearing, do your belt off, und check out the wheel on the pump.
I guess, your bearing is from the pump is the problem.

I know really much, what´s up in this forum here, but i can not remember, somebody wrote a simular problem here in the past.

Ich glaub er meint den Viskolüfter bzw e-Lüfter, dass dieser beim anlassen ziemlich alarm macht.

Have you new experience ?

Checked you your bearing from the air pump out ?

All hoses are okay, or is one porous ?
We in germany have always problems with "martens" in our engine bays, they bite cables and hoses on, sometimes complete off.
